Cor had been zapped by something when dealing with the sap. May tried to help, but the energy zapped her when she touched him. He was able to put his hand into the roots and release the energy that way, but there was a feeling that they should see a healer, so they returned quickly after that. When I saw them, they had burns, ones that looked like they were from Burdez magic, that might become infected, or leave scars, if left to heal naturally. With water at a premium, it's better to have them healed, so we won't have to worry about keeping the burnt areas clean. So I healed them.

I asked where Jack was, and they said he'd gone off to explore on his own, though he'd promised to not touch anything brightly colored, or go into holes, and so on.

We debated fixing the ship. The others seemed interested in jumping in, using a ritual of the Mother to help it fix itself. I pointed out that unless we thought we might get a ship to fly out of this, it was too much time to spend. There was also the possibility that Tek Tek Turka could use the box to help the ship as well.

Jack came back, saying a big stick-like reddish bug had come and saw Jack's torch, then ran away. He thought it was a scout of some sort. We came up with a quick plan. Thymelixsen asked Tek Tek Turka to have the box make an alarm if the bugs come. We talked about leaving, and the possibility of bugs stinging us, even wrapped up. I pointed out that they wouldn't be able to sting us if we were wrapped up in the Ult clothes. Thymelixsen can't wear them, because they're functionally armor for him, but Cor said he could build a small tent-like structure of clothes that wouldn't be armor-like.

In case things were coming for us, we started to move quickly. Thymelixsen went with Eck-Clack and Tek Tek Turka to gather more water. Cor and I went to get debris with which we could build a structure of the clothes, and Jack and May went with us, to get more of the clothes. They found some other things, too.

We were still looking for more stuff when Thymelixsen, Eck-Clack, and Tek Tek Turka came rushing back; the box had sounded an alert.

We all went to throne room. Cor stayed by the outer door until May and I carefully put power at the chair together, and closed it. Then we closed the inner door. Cor and I worked to set up a framework of Ult clothes just inside the inner door, while May showed the others what she'd found.

We heard a muffled explosion by the first door. Thymelixsen sensed magic, and there were two nodes, but he couldn't get more information, which suggested that they were blessed of the Hidden Lord. I tried casting Presence of the Guardian, but failed.

Cor tried yelling through the one remaining door, then pounding on it. They stopped on the other side. He tried getting them to respond, but there was no answer to the three languages we tried.

Cor told Thymelixsen, who was sitting on the throne again, to release spores. And the blessed seemed to back off. Cor asked if we could go through the other door, but there were spores there too.

Then there was another boom. There wasn't time to talk; we had to get ready for a crash. Cor tied me, and May, and Thymelixsen into the chairs we were sitting in, then tied himself to a wall. Jack tied himself in, then decided he would do better to go into shadow.

And just as he was doing that, the ship fell, and we crashed, being at the lowest end, with everything landing on us. I was hanging upside down, held in by the ropes, and was bleeding. It was dark, with much debris around. I could hear the others, at least. I managed to stanch the flow of blood, but wasn't able to get myself out until someone lit a torch.
